Delegates learned about a Parent Led Articulation Therapy project (PLAT), an audit of Pierre Robin sequence outcomes, and studies of early intervention with cleft toddlers.
Key areas covered included Sticklers Syndrome, Feeding in Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome, Update on the NOSI (Nasal Obturator for Speech) and a pactical phonetic transcription workshop!
SLT delegates gathered to hear presentations on The South Thames Outcomes for Cleft Speech and Language Therapy – STOC-SLT”, early intervention in cleft palate, and preliminary findings of the Cleft Cohort Study: Cleft Collective.
